Why is Miami called The 305?

There are many things Miami is proud of but the 305 area code tops the chart. Do you know why? Well, because Pitbull said so on one of his songs called the “305 Anthem”.

Even though they are proud of their pool parties, strip clubs, and happy hours. Miami is the 305 because that’s the city’s original area code. 305 Is One of the Most In-Demand Area Codes in the Country and everybody who was anybody in Miami had a 305 number. Even Pitbull loves to call himself  the “Mr. 305.”

Mr. 305 Inc. is an American record label based in Miami, Florida, that was founded by rapper Pitbull. So Pitbull’s nickname, “305” actually stands for the area code of Miami. The label specializes in Reggaeton and hip hop acts.

Located in the heart of the city, Miami is also famous for its beautiful views of the city.
